About the Artist

Meet Rachel. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she has lived and worked in various regions of the world. Rachel began her creative career in San Francisco California and Philadelphia Pennsylvania, exhibiting in some smaller shops and cafes. After studying Painting and Art Education at Tyler School of Art, she flew the roost and moved to Bangkok Thailand. This opened her horizons and she was given opportunities to create numerous murals, exhibitions and taught art for K-12, as well as worked as an art therapist. Rachel exhibited in Thailand, China, Hong Kong and Japan during her 12 year stay in East and South East Asia, and worked using art therapy for survivors of human trafficking and sexual trauma. 
Currently Rachel lives and works in İzmir, Türkiye working as a full time artist and part time yoga instructor. Her next exhibitions are in Budapest, Hungary (April 2024) and Tokyo, Japan (November 2024).
